Einbauanleitung Kurzhubgasgriff für Yamaha V Max

Gehen Sie bitte genau nach dieser Einbauanleitung vor.

Verwenden Sie nur von uns angelieferte Teile, Gasgriffklammer
Montagezeit ca. 10 Minuten !

Nach beendeter Montage testen Sie bitte die Freigängigkeit des Gaszugs / Griff.

Dieser muß von alleine in die Ausgangsposition zurückdrehen.

Der Gasgriff muss  nach der Montage freibeweglich sein.

Es darf kein Kratzen oder Schleifen auftreten.

 

Hinweis: Unsere Adapter sind absolut passgenau.

Der gelieferte Adapter muss ohne Gewaltanwendungen eingefügt werden können.

Sollte Sie einen Adapter geliefert bekommen, der nicht passgenau ist, bitte nichts daran ändern verbiegen oder bearbeiten sondern verständigen Sie uns schnellstmöglich.

 

Gefahrenhinweis:
Bitte beachten Sie das durch die Montage unserer Gaswegverkürzung

das Fahrzeug spontaner auf Gasgriffbewegungen reagiert.

Fahren Sie mit gebotener Vorsicht bis Sie sich an die neuen Umstände gewöhnt haben!

Please follow these installation instructions exactly.
Only use parts supplied by us, throttle grip clamp
Assembly time approx. 10 minutes !
After assembly is completed, please test the freedom of movement of the throttle cable / handle.
This has to turn back to the starting position on its own.
The throttle grip must move freely after installation.
There must be no scratching or grinding.

Note: Our adapters fit perfectly.
It must be possible to insert the supplied adapter without using force.
If you receive an adapter that does not fit exactly, please do not change anything about it, bend or modify it, but contact us as soon as possible.

Hazard information:
Please note that by mounting our gas path shortener
the vehicle reacts more spontaneously to throttle movements.
Drive with caution until you get used to the new circumstances!

Da es 2 verschieden lange Gaszüge bei den V Max Modellen gibt machen sie bitte vorab folgenden Test !

Drehen sie die Gaszugverstellschraube unterhalb der Griffarmatur bis zum Anschlag ein. 

Wenn kein sichtbares Gewinde übrig bleibt muß hier nichts zusätzliches verändert werden.

 

Since there are 2 different length throttle cables on the V Max models please make the following test in advance !
Turn the throttle cable adjustment screw underneath the handle armature as far as it will go. 
If there is no visible thread left, you don't have to change anything.
 

Sollte jedoch ein Restgewinde von ca. 6 - 7 mm übrig bleiben muss dieses wie folgt bearbeitet werden

If, however, a residual thread of approx. 6 - 7 mm remains, it must be machined as follows
 

Schneiden sie mit geignetem Werkzeug eine Nut von 1 - 2 mm Tiefe in das Kunststoffgewinde.

Sie können hierfür z.B. einen Proxxon oder Dremel mit passender Schneidescheibe oder eine kleine Handsäge benutzen.

Cut a 1 - 2 mm deep groove in the plastic thread with a suitable tool.
You can use a Proxxon or Dremel with a suitable cutting disc or a small hand saw.
 
 

Nehmen sie eine Flachzange und mit einer kleinen Drehbewegung brechen sie den überschüssigen Gewindeteil ab.

Take a flat-nose pliers and with a little twist break off the excess thread part.
 
                              
 
 

Der Gaszug hat nun die passende Länge.

Montageanleitung:

 

Stellen sie ihr Fahrzeug sicher auf dem Seiten - oder Hauptständer auf.

Demontieren sie die rechte Griffarmatur / Gasgriffgehäuse komplett.

 

Zur passenden Bearbeitung des Gasgriffgehäuses benötigen sie ein Schleifwerkzeug wie einen   

Dremel, Proxon , oder ähnliches.

 

Weiterhin wird benötigt:

1 Frässtift (für grobe Arbeiten ) und mindestens ein kleiner Schleifstein für den Feinschliff .

 

Assembly instructions:

Place your vehicle safely on the side or main stand.
Dismantle the right handlebar / throttle body completely.

For the appropriate processing of the throttle grip housing you need a grinding tool such as a
Dremel, proxone, or something like that.

Further is needed:
1 bur (for rough work) and at least one small grindstone for fine grinding

 
Fräsen sie den Steg in der unteren Hälfte der Griffschale heraus. 

Mill out the bar in the lower half of the grip shell.

 
 
 
                       
 

Abb. 5 und 6 zeigen die fertige untere Griffschale.

Figs. 5 and 6 show the finished lower grip.
 
 
 

Fräsen sie in der oberen Hälfte der Griffschale mittig eine kleine Nut ca. 1 mm tief und 3 mm breit .

Mill a small groove approx. 1 mm deep and 3 mm wide in the middle of the upper half of the grip shell.
 
 
 
 
Mit einem kleinen Schleifstein glätten sie nach Bedarf die ausgefrästen Stellen.

Use a small grindstone to smooth out the milled areas as required.
 
 

Test.

Den Gasgriff  mit montiertem Adapter auf den Lenker stecken.

Das untere Griffgehäuse ( Gaszugeingang ) und das bearbeitete Griffgehäuse darüber stecken

mit der Hand passend draufhalten.

Den Gasgriff bitte langsam mit Feingefühl drehen, wenn es einen Widerstand gibt bzw. kratzt

muss das Griffgehäuse noch etwas nachgearbeitet werden.

Am Gasgriff bzw. der Farbmarkierung ist deutlich zu sehen wo es schleift.

Den Vorgang so lange wiederholen bis der Griff in allen Varianten incl. das vorhandene Axialspiel nicht mehr schleift.

Test.
Put the throttle grip on the handlebar with the adapter mounted.
Insert the lower handle housing (throttle cable input) and the machined handle housing above it.
with your hand to fit on it.
Please turn the throttle grip slowly with sensitivity if there is any resistance or scratching.
the handle housing has to be reworked a bit.
At the throttle grip or the color marking you can see clearly where it grinds.
Repeat the process until the handle in all variants including the existing axial play no longer grinds.

 

Montieren sie den KHG Adapter, die dicke Seite (Zug) oben.   

Die Adapter lassen sich mit leichter Spannung einfach montieren.     

Adapter auf den Gasgriff montieren, Gaszugöffner ist die höhere Seite, immer oben.

Vorsicht, den Adapter nicht verbiegen !

 

Mount the KHG adapter, the thick side (pull) on top.   
The adapters are easy to mount with light tension.     
Mount the adapter on the throttle grip, the throttle cable opener is the higher side, always on top.
Be careful not to bend the adapter!

                         

Den beigelegten Nagel  1,5 mm oder 1,8 mm in die Gewindebohrung M 2 oder M 2,5 mittig einführen

 und mit einem kleinen Hammer oben auf den Nagel schlagen so das eine Bohrmarkierung im

Gasgriff deutlich zu sehen ist.

Darauf achten das der Adapter exakt mittig auf den Gasgriff sitzt.

Der Adapter kann dazu mit Klebeband fixiert werden.

 

Insert the enclosed 1.5 mm or 1.8 mm nail into the threaded hole M 2 or M 2.5 in the middle.

The throttle grip is clearly visible.
Make sure that the adapter is exactly centered on the throttle grip.
The adapter can be fixed with adhesive tape.
 

Den Adapter vorsichtig gleichmäßig abnehmen ohne ihn zu verbiegen.

Mit beigefügtem Bohrer 2,4 mm oder 3,0 mm an der Markierten Stelle ein Durchgangsloch bohren.

 

Carefully and evenly remove the adapter without bending it.
Drill a through hole at the marked point using the 2.4 mm or 3.0 mm drill bit provided.

 

Die beiliegende Madenschraube ca. 2 Umdrehungen einschrauben.

Das Gewinde mit muß Loktide Schraubensicherung beträufeln,

die Schraube eindrehen bis der sie eben ( Plan ) mit dem Adapter ist.

 

Screw in the enclosed grub screw approx. 2 turns.
The thread must be drizzled with Loktide screw lock,
Screw in the screw until it is flat ( flat ) with the adapter.

 
Den Adapter auf den hohen Flächen mit einem Maker / Edding / Filsstift komplett anmalen.

Completely paint the adapter on the high surfaces with a Maker / Edding / Filsstift.
 
Legen sie den Gasgriff mit montierter KHG - Adaption in das Gasgriff Gehäuse.  
Der Griff muß sich frei um 360 Grad drehen lassen.

Place the throttle grip with mounted KHG adaption in the throttle grip housing.
The handle must be free to rotate 360 degrees.

 

 

Achtung:

Vor Montage der Gaszüge verstellen sie diese an der Vergaserseite und Griffschale auf max. Länge

Attention:
Before fitting the throttle cables, adjust them to the maximum length on the carburettor side and grip shell.
 

Montieren Sie zuerst den Rückholgaszug.

Mount the return gas cable first.

 
               
 

Führen Sie beide Gaszüge in das Griffgehäuse und schrauben sie diese handfest.

Insert both throttle cables into the handle housing and screw them hand-tight.                  

 
                
 
Montieren sie zuerst den Rückholgaszug (hinten),anschließend den ziehenden Gaszug. 

First mount the return throttle cable (rear), then the pulling throttle cable.       

 
                
 

Setzen sie die obere Griffschale auf und schrauben sie diese

mit den mitgelieferten Schrauben in der für sie geeigneten Position fest.

Stellen sie an der Rändelschraube des ziehenden Gaszugs des

Gasgriffspiel auf ihre Bedürfnisse ein

Wir empfehlen 2-3 mm Leerspiel.

 

Testen sie den Gasgriff auf absolute Freigängigkeit.

Der Gasgriff muß aus jeder Position von selbst in Nullstellung zurücklaufen!

 

Put on the upper grip and tighten it with the supplied screws in the position suitable for you.
Adjust the knurled screw of the pulling throttle cable of the throttle grip play to your requirements.
We recommend 2-3 mm empty play.

Test the throttle grip for absolute freedom of movement.
The throttle grip must automatically return to zero position from any position!
 
Dieser Hinweis ist nur bei Verwendung von Zubehörgriffen zu beachten!

Bei Verwendung von ABM oder Rizoma Griffen verwenden Sie bitte den

von den Herstellern mitgelieferten kleinsten Ring.

Sie können diesen auch bei uns  beziehen , Preis 10,00 €.

                  

                                                               Warnhinweis:

Durch unseren Kurzhubgas Adapter verkürzt sich der Gasweg um ca. 25% gegenüber der Serie.

Vollgas aus dem Handgelenk ohne Nachfassen ist problemlos möglich.

Das Motorrad reagiert auf jede Gasgriffbewegung wesentlich spontaner als mit dem Seriengasgriff.

Fahren Sie im eigenen Interesse mit der gebotenen Vorsicht bis sie sich an die neuen Umstände gewöhnt haben.
