Demontage Gasgriffgehäuse

Einstellschraube der Gaszüge maximal eindrehen

Dismantling the throttle grip housing
Screw in the adjustment screw of the throttle cables to the maximum

2 Schrauben am Gasgriffgehäuse lösen,

Gaszüge aushängen, 1. Rückholzug ( unten ) 2. Gaszug ( oben )

2 Loosenscrews on the throttle grip housing,
Unhook throttle cables, 1. return cable ( bottom ) 2. throttle cable ( top )

 

Bearbeitung Griffgehäuse:

 

Am besten geeignet ist z.B. ein Dremel / Proxxon Schleifer mit einer Schleifscheibe

mit Durchmesser mind. 35 mm, besser 40 mm – 45mm. Gibt es in jedem Baumarkt günstig zu kaufen.

Schleifen Sie vorsichtig im kompletten Bereich der beiden Gaszüge und dazwischen gleichmäßig

ca.3 mm des Kunststoffmaterials heraus.

 

Beginnen Sie auf einer Seite, dann die andere Seite, danach die Mitte.

 

Machining handle housing:

The most suitable is e.g. a Dremel / Proxxon grinder with a grinding wheel
with a diameter of at least 35 mm, better 40 mm - 45 mm. You can buy them cheaply in any DIY store.
Carefully grind the entire area of the two throttle cables and in between, evenly removing approx. 3 mm of the plastic material.

Start on one side, then the other side, then the middle.
 

Bei einigen Suzuki, Kawasaki und Ducati Modellen kann es notwendig sein die Gaszugführung zu kürzen.

Wenn die Gaszugführung in das Griffgehäuse hineinragt, muß diese gekürzt werden.

Diese sind je nach Modell aus Aluguss oder Kunsstoff.

Vorgehen:

Mit einer Dremelschleifscheibe die Führung ringsherum einschneiden- der Länge nach einritzen.

Mit einer Zange mittels einer Drehbewegung das Teil abbrechen, mit der Zange zudrücken oder abzwicken.

 

On some Suzuki, Kawasaki and Ducati models it may be necessary to shorten the throttle cable guide.
If the throttle cable guide protrudes into the grip housing, it must be shortened.
These are made of cast aluminium or plastic, depending on the model.
Procedure:
Cut all around the guide with a Dremel grinding wheel - score lengthwise.
Use a pair of pliers to break off the part with a twisting motion, press it shut with the pliers or pinch it off.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Testen Sie ohne Gaszüge mit eingelegtem Adapter wie folgt:

Gasgriff auf den Lenker stecken das Gehäuse darüberlegen und von Hand festhalten.

Der Gasgriff muss sich im Wirkungsbereich leicht drehen lassen ohne schleifen und kratzen.

Bei etwas handwerklichem Geschickmit richtigem Werkzeug ist die ganze Anpassungsarbeit in max. 10 Min. erledigt

Test without throttle cables with the adapter inserted as follows:
Put the throttle grip on the handlebar, place the housing over it and hold it by hand.
It must be possible to turn the throttle grip easily in the effective range without grinding and scratching.
With a little manual skillwith the right tools, the whole adjustment work can be done in max. 10 minutes.

Für den Fall dass das Gaszugspiel über die Einstellschraube  am Gaszug außen nicht ausreicht

müssen die Gaszüge direkt an der Einspritzanlage auf das Maximum eingedreht werden

 

In the event that the throttle cable play via the adjustment screw  the throttle cable is not sufficient,
the throttle cables must be screwed in to the maximum directly at the injection system.

 

Die Gaszüge sollten sich am Gasgriff einfach ohne Zerren, Reißen oder Gewaltanwendung montieren lassen.

 

Sollte das nachstellen der Gaszüge an der Einspritzanlage nicht ausreichen, gehen Sie bitte folgendermaßen vor.

Lösen Sie die Kontermutter oben am Rückholgaszug und drehen Sie die Stellschraube so weit ein das die Einstellmechanik abgenommen werden kann.

Drehen Sie die obere Mutter nach unten und montieren Sie die Gaszugführung so das beide Muttern unten liegen.

Ziehen Sie die Mutter unten fest.

Mit dieser Maßnahme erhält der Gaszug oben um die Wandungsstärke der Mutter mehr und ausreichend Spiel. _________________________________________________________________________________________

The throttle cables should fit easily to the throttle grip without tugging, tearing or without tugging, tearing or force.
If adjusting the throttle cables on the injection system is not sufficient, please proceed as follows.
Loosen the lock nut at the top of the return throttle cable and turn the adjusting screw until the screw in so far

that the adjustment mechanism can be removed.
Turn the upper nut downwards and mount the throttle cable guide so that both nuts are at the bottom.
Tighten the lower nut.
With this measure the throttle cable gets more and sufficient play at the top by the wall thickness of the nut.

Test nach Bearbeitung des Gasgriffgehäuses:

Den Gasgriff mit montiertem Adapter auf den Lenker stecken,

das bearbeitete Griffgehäuse darüber stecken und von Hand zusammendrücken.

Der Gasgriff muss sich im Arbeitsbereich frei ohne Kratzen und Widerstände bewegen lassen.

 

Test after machining the throttle grip housing:
Place the throttle grip with mounted adapter on the handlebar,
place the machined grip housing over it and press it together by hand.
The throttle grip must move freely in the working area without scratching or resistance.

Adapter auf den Gasgriff montieren, Gaszugöffner ist die höhere Seite, immer oben.

Vorsicht, den Adapter nicht verbiegen !

 

Mount the KHG adapter, the thick side (pull) on top.   
The adapters are easy to mount with light tension.     
Mount the adapter on the throttle grip, the throttle cable opener is the higher side, always on top.
Be careful not to bend the adapter!

Den beigelegten Nagel  1,5 mm oder 1,8 mm in die Gewindebohrung M 2 oder M 2,5 mittig einführen

 und mit einem kleinen Hammer oben auf den Nagel schlagen so das eine Bohrmarkierung im

Gasgriff deutlich zu sehen ist.

Darauf achten das der Adapter exakt mittig auf den Gasgriff sitzt.

Der Adapter kann dazu mit Klebeband fixiert werden.

 

Insert the enclosed 1.5 mm or 1.8 mm nail into the threaded hole M 2 or M 2.5 in the middle.
and hit the nail with a small hammer at the top so that a drill mark is made in the nail.
The throttle grip is clearly visible.
Make sure that the adapter is exactly centered on the throttle grip.
The adapter can be fixed with adhesive tape.

Den Adapter vorsichtig gleichmäßig abnehmen ohne ihn zu verbiegen.

Mit beigefügtem Bohrer 2,4 mm oder 3,0 mm an der Markierten Stelle ein Durchgangsloch bohren.

 

Carefully and evenly remove the adapter without bending it.
Drill a through hole at the marked point using the 2.4 mm or 3.0 mm drill bit provided.

Die beiliegende Madenschraube ca. 2 Umdrehungen einschrauben.

Das Gewinde mit muß Loktide Schraubensicherung beträufeln,

die Schraube eindrehen bis der sie eben ( Plan ) mit dem Adapter ist.

 

Screw in the enclosed grub screw approx. 2 turns.
The thread must be drizzled with Loktide screw lock,
Screw in the screw until it is flat ( flat ) with the adapter.

 

Beigelegte M6 Imbus mit Gummischeibe an der Halteklammer der Gaszüge montieren

Fit the enclosed M6 Allen key with rubber washer to the throttle cable retaining clip.

Beide Gaszüge in die vorgesehene Öffnung die Griffgehäuses einstecken

und mit der Mittelschraubeca. 3 Umdrehungen ( locker ) fixieren.

 

Insert both throttle cables into the opening provided in the handle housing.
and fix with the centre screw approx. 3 turns (loosely).

 

Den unteren Gaszug ( schließen ) in den Gasgriff einhängen

mit einem kleine Schraubendreher kann hier die Montage vereinfacht werden

Bitte keine Gewalt anwenden, mit etwas Feingefühl geht es besser.

Die Gaszüge stehen bei der Montage etwas unter Spannung

 

Hook the lower throttle cable (close) into the throttle grip.
The assembly can be simplified with a small screwdriver.
Please do not use force, it works better with a little sensitivity.
The throttle cables are slightly under tension during assembly.

Beiliegend Distanzen, 1,5 mm unten ( Schließen ) von oben einführen und fixieren

anschließend oben 3 mm ( Öffnen ) von oben einlegen.

Die mittlere Halteschraube eindrehen bis die Gummischeibe anliegt.

Insert the enclosed spacers, 1.5 mm at the bottom (closing) from above and fix them.
then insert 3 mm at the top ( opening ) from above.
Screw in the middle retaining screw until the rubber washer is in place.

Gasgriffgehäuse ( Deckel ) montieren.

An der Einstellschraube das Gaszugspiel so einstellen

das am Gasgriff ca. 2 – 4 mm Leerspielvorhanden ist.

Achtung:

Wenn das Spiel zu knapp eingestellt ist kann es zu Verspannungen der Gaszüge und dadurch zu Schwergängigkeit kommen

Fit the throttle grip housing (cover).
Adjust the throttle cable play on the adjusting screw so that
that there is approx. 2 - 4 mm play at the throttle grip.
Caution:
If the play is adjusted too tightly, the throttle cables may become tense and thus sluggish.
